Seth Becker

Seth Becker (b. 1987, Queens, New York) is an American artist who lives and works in Newburgh, NY. He received his BA from Marymount Manhattan College in 2015, his MFA from the New York Studio School in 2017, and his MLS from Queens College in 2022. His work often draws on vernacular imagery and the visual language of found photographs. Becker has presented solo exhibitions at Gladstone Gallery, Brussels (2026); Venus Over Manhattan, New York (2024); American Art Catalogues, New York (2024); Castle Gallery, Los Angeles (2023); and Pamela Salisbury, Hudson, New York (2020-23). In 2024, Becker's painting At Sea (for Winsor McCay) was featured on the cover of the 250th issue of The Paris Review.
