Dario Guccio

Dario Guccio (b. 1988, Milan) lives and works in Milan. He studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, graduating in 2013. Guccio works across painting, sculpture, drawing, and comics, often constructing images from cut and stitched materials. Solo exhibitions include American Art Catalogues, New York (2025); Baleno International, Rome (2023); KWM Art Center, Beijing (2020); Mine Project, Hong Kong (2019); Federico Vavassori, Milan (2018, 2016, 2015); and Room East, New York (2016), among others. His work has been included in group exhibitions at Castiglioni, Milan (2023); Casa Masaccio Center for Contemporary Art, San Giovanni Valdarno (2022); Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome (2016); Room East, New York (2015); and GAM – Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Milan (2014), among others.

In 2019, he co-founded and curated Frankenstein Magazine, a self-published magazine with a strong focus on comics, which received the Micheluzzi Award for Best Self-Publication in 2022.
