Anthea Hamilton

Anthea Hamilton (b. 1978, London), is a British artist who lives and works in London. She received her BA from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2000 and her MA from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2005. Hamilton's work is often site-specific, immersive, and large-scale. It spans sculpture, installation, film, and performance. Selected solo exhibitions include Fondazione Memmo, Rome (2025); Museum of Contemporary Art, Antwerp (2022), Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (2021); Secession, Vienna (2018); and Tate Britain, London (2018). Hamilton was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2016.
